Benjamin comes from the beautiful village of Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat, in the Philippines, and was raised with love alongside his eight siblings. His family practiced farming, fostering a strong work ethic and close community ties. Now married and a proud father, he cherishes the values he learned in his village.

At 18, Benjamin embarked on a journey to America with his father and siblings in search of better opportunities. Upon settling in Daly City, he took the initiative to enroll in English classes, eager to learn and adapt. Shortly after, they discovered Treasure Island Mobile Home & RV Park, where he and his family instantly felt at home.

Benjamin’s passion for cooking led him to Max’s Restaurant, where he started as a dishwasher and worked his way up to head chef, delighting diners with authentic Filipino dishes. After years of culinary adventure, he joined the team at Treasure Island, where his dedication and cheerful spirit shine in his maintenance and renovation work.

Today, Benjamin plays a key role in keeping the property clean, functional, and running smoothly. You might see him handling maintenance, driving through the park, or helping guests with a quick fix. He’s the kind of person who greets you with warmth that makes you feel like you’ve been here before.

Consistency matters in any RV park, and Vidal brings over two decades of dedication to Treasure Island Mobile Home & RV Park. Born and raised in the small town of “San Francisco” in Guanajuato, Mexico, Vidal’s upbringing was steeped in hard work and community spirit. His family ran a brick-and-mortar business that helped shape homes and lives in their town and beyond. From the age of eight, Vidal was learning the ropes of responsibility. He often woke up with the roosters and could be seen cranking up his father’s 1947 Ford pickup truck.

After moving to the United States, he settled, you guessed it, in San Francisco and worked hard to build a new life, learning English and working various jobs, including stints at the flower market and Hertz rental car, before finding his way here.

In 2002, a temporary position brought him to our RV park. What started as a temporary contract quickly turned into a long-term commitment, as his hard work and dedication captured the attention of the park’s management. Vidal’s gracious acceptance of a permanent position marked the beginning of a remarkable 20+ year journey at the park. 

Park manager Henry is a South San Francisco native who embodies the spirit of his hometown. Raised in a family that has called South San Francisco home since 1963, he takes great pride in the community he serves. 

As a first-generation American of Tongan descent, Henry’s cultural heritage informs his values, instilling in him a strong sense of family, faith, and community. He is a devoted father who takes immense joy in watching his children thrive, particularly when they connect with the same teachers who once inspired him—an experience he cherishes deeply. 

When the opportunity arose to work at Treasure Island Mobile Home & RV Park, his hometown, Henry embraced it wholeheartedly. Driven by a deep appreciation for his grandparents’ dreams of a brighter future that led them to become U.S. citizens, Henry honors their legacy through hard work around the park.

As the park manager, he immerses himself in the community, engaging with residents and staff alike. You’ll find him walking around the park to ensure everything is running smoothly, catching up with residents over laughter, or working alongside Vidal and Benjamin to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.
